7 Facebook Tips For Pinoy Networkers

Do you know that there are over 25 Million Filipino Facebook users?
So it's ridiculous to not use it with your Network Marketing business online. Unfortunately, even there are a lot of Networkers trying to use 

Facebook on their business, they’re using it in a Wrong way.

To use Facebook with your MLM business is to create your facebook profile with Attraction Marketing Principles. You need to make your profile very inviting and will represent you in a way that attracts others to connect with you. 

Here are 7 Facebook Marketing Tips For Pinoy Networkers...

1. Put a Decent Profile Picture – Put a decent picture or better yet
Professional looking one in your profile. Imagine someone chatting with you or sent you a message inviting you to his Network Marketing Business with a tag word of “Payaman tayo dito” with a profile picture of him without a T-Shirt on or even worst Picture of him drunk. Are you be willing to do business with him. Will you take this Guy seriously? Probably No! First impression is important in building an online presence. Don’t use pictures of animals, avatar, cartoon character as your profile picture.. This Social media is called Facebook because you are supposed to put the Picture of your FACE as your profile picture. Avoid using your company logos as well because you are more likely to scare your prospects away than to attract them because they’ll have an impression that you are a salesman.

2. Fill up your BIO - Filling up your bio will let people know what you are interested with and what business you are in. it is also a good idea to put your hobbies and other interests like favorite books, Sports, etc., so people can start to know you more and so that they can relate to you quickly especially if you and your prospect share some common interests.

3. Joini Groups in your Niche. - Facebook groups are the best place to find targeted people in Facebook. By joining groups, you are exposing yourself to a list of likeminded group of people and connecting and exchanging ideas with them can increase your knowledge. An exsample of this is my Group

4. Add Friends in Your Niche – Send Friend Invitations to the people in your Niche. It is a Good idea to add personal message with your invitation. just include a simple Hi, Hello message don't put any links of your products or opportunity. People will more likely to Accept your Friend request if you are being Friendly and not there to sell them something.

5. Promote Yourself - By giving away your friends free stuff that they can use in their business like free eBooks, free Videos, Links to Good Articles about Network Marketing, etc.. Promoting or Selling your self first will establish your relationship with your prospects. They will like you and you can start to win their trust.

6. Position Yourself as an Expert - by adding value to other peoples lives. Give tips, advice and share all the knowledge you've learned thru reading books and your experiences, by helping other people with their problems you will start establishing yourself as an expert. By becoming an expert you are starting to demonstrate you're leadership and People are always seeking for a Leader that they can Follow and learn from.

7. Do NOT spam and post ads on someone’s wall – Think of this, do you get annoyed every time someone will block your way while walking in a mall and then try to sell you a life insurance? My goodness, I get annoyed by this every time I go to malls, This can be compared to someone trying to sell you something by posting an ad to your wall or tagging a picture of their products and opportunity to everyone. It’s like someone try to sell a bottle of glutathione to everyone he/she will meet. Facebook is a Social Media and NOT a Selling media. So do NOT sell just Socialized. Tagging anyone with a picture of your ad or your opportunity is also a big NO,NO..

One last word,Facebook is just a tool for us
Networkers to expand our warm market,
Don't promote your products and opportunity.
Doing that, You will more likely to scare your
Prospects away than to attract them.

How to Market Your MLM Products and Opportunities on Social Media

Two days ago I was listening to Dani Johnson’s training on Instant Customer’s Goldmine. It’s a sales training audio where she is teaching how we can create a massive income from the product we are selling. On her training she said that we can make most of our sales from our warm market not in cold market. So how we can turn these cold markets into warm market? The answer is simple, build a relationship and create influence on those people. Find their needs, strength, and goals then have a moral obligation to help them in their situation through your opportunity. Get the dollar sign out of your mind, provide pure value to people. People will know if you are truly sincere or you are just making money out of them. 

In terms of Social Media, stop spamming people with your sales messages, products and opportunities in your Social Media community. For one reason, when you do this; you already lose your posture. You become a sales man who is doing fliers inside the malls, grocery stores, and park except that you only make it in cyber space. Always keep in mind that we are not in sales, we are business builders so our prospects needs us.

Second reason, network marketing is all about building relationship not just selling to people. Always remember this important rule, “people buy from you not because of your product, services and opportunities but because they trust you.” So it is important to build a rapport, trust and friendship in your social media community.

In this way, you are already turning your suspects into prospects or making cold prospects to warm prospects.

Now the QUESTION is how will you market your MLM products and opportunities to people on your social media community and what are the steps?

Here are some tips that I’m going to show you.

1. Add anyone on your account. When they accepted your request just say thank you and leave a message but no pitching of opportunities and products yet because you are building rapport, trust and friendship. You need to gain their trust first! Here’s one of my script is, “Thank you for accepting my request, it’s great to be connected with you” or“it’s great to be connect with great people in the home business industry.” Connecting people in social media is like when you are meeting new people when you are in a social gathering.

2. Send them your personal message thru the Facebook chat box or thru message composer, ask their contact information on Skype, Yahoo Messenger or Mobile Number. It is also important that you ask their email address. Exchange contact information with them.

3. Set-up your own business page (also known as Facebook Fan Page Profile) or any equivalent if you are using other social networking sites. Do not also forget to set-up a landing page on your business page. It is very important so you can capture other people’s contact information. Ask them if you can send them to your business page.

4. Have an auto-responder set-up. So you can follow-up them thru email. When making a follow-up on email, do not just pitch your products and opportunities you should also provide value to them. Remember the principle in internet marketing – provide value, value, value and value. Educate people about your industry, finances and breakthrough, testimony of people who succeed in the network marketing industry. The content per email must be ¾ education and ¼ only for sales message.

5. Call them, have a conversation with them about their interest. Let them talk, be a good listeners. Let them feel that they are very important. Be interested on them. Use F.O.R.M. (Family, Occupation, Recreation and then the Message will come out).

How to Measure The Success Of Your Social Media Marketing Campaign

When you start a social media marketing campaign you should also measure the progress or the success of it in order for you to determine if the campaign is working well on not. But the question here is how will you measure it?

Common answers that I heard from a lot of amateur marketers are:

1. Creating buzz on social media
2. Generating a lot of conversation online
3. A list of influencers in social media talking about your products, events or opportunities.
4. Etc.

None of these answers are quantifiable. Always go with the numbers because numbers don’t lie. social media campaigns are much trackable than any other media campaigns have been.

Here are the much quantifiable answers:

1. Generating at least 100 new mentions of your product in social media.
2. Having more than 10,000 views of your video in YouTube
3. Generating at least 10,000 like on your Facebook Like Page
4. Having 10 bloggers write positive post about you, your products, or services
5. Generating at least 20 comments on your blog post
6. And a lot more

Now you see the difference? The first one is very vague and subject, but the second goal is clear and you can clearly determine whether you hit them or not.
This is how you do social media marketing campaign.
